Autumn's Child by Patricia Crandall


Her cheeks
are Macintosh apples.
She has corn silk hair,
eyes green as leaves.
A bright orange dress
with a backdrop
of blue sky,
and lemon sun.
Purple lips
draw up
in a pumpkin smile.
